Customised and standardised ePTO solutions
ETP has been developing electrical superstructure systems for over two decades and was one of the first players to recognise the potential of ePTO technology. Today, we offer both customised solutions and standardised options through our Blue Pac concept.
ePTO solutions make it possible to power truck superstructures entirely or partially with electricity. By replacing the mechanical power take-off with an electrical system, the superstructure can operate with the diesel engine switched off. The result is a solution that reduces fuel consumption, lowers noise levels and contributes to a more sustainable vehicle fleet. Electrification of the superstructure is a concrete step towards reducing emissions, regardless of whether the truck is powered by electricity or fossil fuels.

Blue Pac Standard, a fixed installation solution with standardised battery and motor modules. Optimised for easy integration and daily operation.
Blue Pac Hybrid, a mobile unit with mains connection capability (16A and 32A), designed for flexible use between different vehicles or for workplaces with varying needs.
Benefits that are noticeable in everyday life
An electric power solution from ETP enables quiet and emission-free operation, even in environmental zones and densely populated areas where requirements are rapidly increasing. When the combustion engine can be switched off during operation, both emissions and fuel costs are significantly reduced. The low noise level also contributes to a safer and more pleasant working environment and makes it possible to work early, late or in sensitive environments. Blue Pac is already used by customers with crane trucks, refuse trucks, swap bodies and other heavy special vehicles.

Blue Pac Standard

Blue Pac Standard Technical Specifications
Blue Pac Hybrid
Hybrid Blue Pac is a mobile battery-powered solution for superstructures that combines battery technology with power from the wall (16 or 32 A). With hydraulic quick couplings, it takes only 10-20 minutes to connect the system to the flatbed, and it can be easily moved between different vehicles. The battery can power the superstructure entirely on its own or serve as an operational support for significant fuel savings. It can also serve as a peak shaving solution in applications where there have previously been mains-connected superstructures with high power requirements. The system is flexible and works effectively with superstructures with high energy requirements.
Tailor-made ePTO solutions for unique needs
Every application has its own requirements. That is why we also develop customer-specific ePTO systems for bodybuilders with special requirements in terms of space, control systems or functionality. We have experience of integrating electric drive systems into everything from crane trucks to special vehicles and municipal service applications.
