Meet Jonas Storm, application engineer at ETP

With a background as an electrical engineer from Chalmers University of Technology and several years of experience at Volvo Trucks, where he developed electric powertrains for heavy vehicles, Jonas Storm has built up a deep understanding of how electrical systems work in practice. At ETP, he combines this knowledge with the breadth of his role as an application engineer – from calculations and simulations to the design of complete electrical systems for mobile machines.

– I get to work with a wide range of applications and be involved in the entire process, from idea to finished solution. It's stimulating to work closely with both the technology and the customer and see how our systems work in reality.

Working at ETP means constant development. New customer projects mean new applications, technologies and requirements. The combination of freedom, responsibility and support from experienced colleagues makes learning a natural part of everyday life.

– We work across a wide range of areas, from trains and forestry machines to marine applications. Each project has unique requirements, which means we have to think innovatively and adapt our solutions. At the same time, customers are often surprised at how quickly we can develop a functioning system. This is thanks to our specialisation in electric powertrains and our experience with many different types of machines; we rarely start from scratch.

From strategy to execution – meet Ellen Braun

After eight years at ETP, Ellen looks back on a journey marked by development and growth. She first came into contact with the company while studying management and economics at the School of Economics in Gothenburg, a combination that provided a strong foundation for her current role.

As the person in charge of operations, Ellen puts ETP's strategy into practice by leading projects, developing processes and creating structures for sustainable growth. The work is a mix of people and numbers, always with a focus on long-term development.

- I was attracted by ETP's commitment and entrepreneurial spirit. Here, I was quickly given responsibility and the opportunity to influence, something that still characterises the culture.

Ellen emphasises the importance of growing sustainably – being efficient and innovative while maintaining commitment and culture.

– Joy is the value that is closest to my heart. When you feel comfortable, you dare to try new ideas, and that is the basis for innovation.

She describes ETP as an organisation where cooperation and trust drive development forward, with Volito as a platform for further learning and opportunities.

Meet Rasoul Khosravi, technician at ETP

For Rasoul Khosravi, technology is about understanding, testing and improving. As a technician at ETP, he works with assembly, programming, testing and problem solving, a job that perfectly suits his background as a trained electronics engineer from the University of Applied Sciences in Gothenburg.

"I work on testing and analysing our systems and finding solutions that make them even better. It's very motivating to see the results of your work and know that you're contributing to development," says Rasoul.

At ETP, he has had the opportunity to grow both technically and personally. The work is characterised by close collaboration, where colleagues support each other and share experiences, something Rasoul believes makes a big difference in everyday life and in the solutions they develop

Meet Robin von Dorrien, Sales Engineer at ETP

As a sales engineer at ETP, Robin works at the intersection of technology, business and people. For five years, he has been developing electrification solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future, which is also his greatest motivation.

– I want to work with something that makes a difference. At ETP, I get to contribute to the green transition by helping customers electrify their machines.

Robin is a trained development engineer from Halmstad University. His education has given him a broad technical foundation and the ability to see the big picture in complex systems, which is an important asset in his role.

The work involves understanding customer needs and transforming them into technical solutions by developing concepts, dimensioning components and suggesting improvements that increase performance and energy efficiency. The role requires technical expertise, business acumen and the ability to build long-term relationships.

– It is inspiring to work in a culture where every idea is taken seriously. Joy, commitment and development permeate everything we do and create a strong team spirit.
