Mr Christer Sigurd

CEO

Innovation has taken us from forklifts and gates to the development of sustainable machines of the future.

Did you know that ETP was founded back in 1978 and that its name is an abbreviation of Eriksson Truck and Portservice? Although much has happened since then, our interest in technology and innovation remains unchanged. Today, we are a leading player in the electrification of mobile and marine applications, a development that would not have been possible without passionate employees and ambitious customers. Together, we are developing solutions for a more sustainable future.

From Eriksson Truck and Portservice to electrification

1978: ETP is founded by Kent Eriksson in Partille, with a focus on the development and servicing of forklift trucks, and the business grows steadily.

1990s: Kent, a pioneer in battery technology, develops its offering and now focuses increasingly on battery solutions for forklift trucks.

2000s: As demand for new components for electric vehicles increases, ETP's focus on electrification is further strengthened.

Greater focus on system solutions creates growth

2001: ETP participates in the development of Sweden's first electric refuse collection vehicle, which attracts considerable national attention.

2013: ETP's current CEO Christer Sigurd acquires the company.

2010s: Under Christer's leadership, the offering is developed to include complete system solutions for the electrification of mobile machines. The company grows rapidly, both in terms of turnover and number of employees.

2017: ETP makes major investments in the property to enable continued growth, efficient processes and a better working environment.

The Nordic region's first Certified Mobile Electrification Centre

2018: ETP celebrates its 40th anniversary and launches its proprietary ePTO solution, BluePac.

2021: ETP is acquired by Volito and is now part of a larger group together with HydX and HydSupply, among others. Together, we can offer our customers complete technical solutions in electrification, hydraulics and electronics.

2024: Parker Hannifin appoints ETP as the Nordic region's first Certified Mobile Electrification Centre. ETP exceeds SEK 50 million in turnover for the first time and the business grows with more customers and employees.

Focus on green growth

2025: By recruiting top talent and forming strong partnerships with market-leading suppliers, ETP is developing its high-voltage offering. Electrifying heavier and more demanding applications is a natural step in accelerating the green transition.

The future: Developing vehicles and machines for a sustainable future remains our mission. By accelerating our growth, we can electrify even more applications and contribute to society's green transition. We look forward with confidence to a future where electrification is both a necessity and a business opportunity.

Looking to the future

ETP is in a phase of rapid growth, and we are constantly looking for more employees who want to be part of developing the technology solutions of the future. With us, you will find a workplace where innovation, sustainability and cutting-edge technology go hand in hand with business acumen, strong team spirit and a big heart.
